Council of Applied Master's Programs in Psychology Conference

The 2011 joint Council of Applied Master’s Programs in Psychology and North American Association of Masters in Psychology Conference will take place on November 11 and 12, 2011 at National University in La Jolla, California.

The conference theme is “Applied Psychology: Methods, Issues, and Future Directions” and the conference will bring together psychologists, applied psychologists, and educators to share knowledge and advancements in applied research and interventions in psychology, peak performance, and applied techniques.

The conference is designed for academics, professionals, and administrators. Faculty and students in applied master’s programs are strongly encouraged to submit an abstract for research and/or applied projects that can be presented in either lecture or poster format.

Important Dates

  • Deadline for Pre-Registration: November 1, 2011

The cost of conference attendance is:

  • $75 for CAMPP members
  • $100 for nonmembers
  • $20 for students
  • Onsite registration is additional $15
  • $50 Pre-conference activities and CEUs

A limited number of discounted hotel accommodations for conference attendees are available at the nearby Doubletree – San Diego Del Mar – 11915 El Camino Real, San Diego, CA 92130. (858) 481-5900. The hotel will provide a free shuttle to and from the event, and the hotel is conveniently located near Torrey Pines Beach and Preserve and 15 minutes from SeaWorld.
